Meet the Staff
OK then, you've had a look around now lets get to know the crew, as we said earlier they are all industry professional and are doing this because they love the job. They are all looking forward to meeting their next new student so why not make that student you.

Firstly, Lets meet Julz!,
"Hello to all, I have been singing for over 20 years all over the place even as far as England. I have been in a few bands such as "The Baby Animals Show" 13 Names and Fuse Theory. I am also a registered song writer with APRA.
I started teaching 5 years ago and love it, I love to watch shy students turn into confident singers, even if it is only to get up at a Karaoke bar.
I sing many styles of music from Country, Folk, Pop, Jazz all the way to Rock, and I use all of these styles to help you grow as a vocalist.
The hardest step is to make the call the rest of it is pure fun. So call me today you won't regret it".

Then There's Troy,
"Hi there, I have always had a passion for music, from a very young age. I started playing when I was 8 years old and I have never really stopped.
I decided to get serious about music after finishing school and then went on to study contemporary music at the Australian Institute of Music for 3 years, during and after which I was playing in bands and recording as often as I could, I decided to start teaching for Guitar World Penrith and found it a very satisfying experience. After managing the school for 10 years Julz and I had the opportunity to buy it and take it to the next level, and we are certainly glad we did.
After performing with various cover acts such as Early Warning the Baby Animals Show and No Secrets The Angels Show I decided to get more into engineering and original music, thus the creation of the recording studio.
I hope to meet you soon and lets see if we can get you playing what you want to play!"

"I can be heard playing on a compilation album Blue Mountains Music Volume 2 and on the debut album for ex-Bumblebeez member Little Boy From The Woods. I have also recently finished recording my own album which is currently in the mixing stage.
I hold an Associate Diploma in Music and I have taught everything from Classical to Metal. I have had a number of students achieve a High Distinction in the AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) exams and many others have gone on to record CD's with their own bands".

I have written, recorded and toured with several original rock bands, worked in "The Pit" for live stage musicals as well as freelancing for concept/cover shows through various agencies.
I am able to teach a huge range of styles in guitar and also bass, as I have a wide range of musical tastes that I love to listen to, play and teach, my influences range from Segovia to AC/DC, Sound Garden to Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Queens of the Stone Age.
I love to teach and I can take you from beginner to advanced, it's all up to you!"

Hey Rockers,
My name is Ian Dunn & I have dedicated the past 12 years of my life to studying, playing, writing & recording music.
I studied & performed Music at the Western Institute of TAFE in my former home town of Orange & obtained my Advanced Diploma of Music with credit.
I have been teaching drums for 6 years with experience in music of all styles from Pop to Metal.
I am confident in providing students of all ages, beginners to advanced with practical exercises & fun beats to get the best results from their time rockin' out on the drums. Some aspects of my teaching include: accents, double kick, fills, rudiments, sight reading, solos, technique & theory.
Learning to play the drums is great for people of all walks of life, it's a great physical & cardio workout plus it's good for co-ordination & timing, it's relaxing & can be challenging!
I'm currently playing with two bands, RED BEE a progressive rock/metal trio from the Blue Mountains & the ROCKS (formerly from Orange) a 3 piece Rock band, now based in Coogee.
Feel free to check out some recent recordings at www.myspace.com/redbeemusic &/or www.myspace.com/therocksnotdead
I love to play the drums & teaching is the best way to pass on my experience & knowledge to people who wish to understand & develop the art of drumming!!!
